The most skillful experts of the animal kingdom
Long before men started building houses, nature already displayed sophisticated constructions made by animals.
Often, these structures incorporate complicated features such as ventilation, temperature regulation, structural strength, multiple escape routes, traps, bait, special-purpose chambers and many other features.
The techniques and materials can be very simple or very complex, but in all cases, they are the most appropriate for each function and adapted to morphological possibilities of each animal, so you could say that the architecture created by animals is the paradigm of sustainable construction.
This book seeks to raise interest, awareness and respect for non-human constructions, and from there develop greater awareness of our own architecture.
