Residing in East London, Rosie Eve shares a Victorian peanut factory with 11 other artists, an angry cat and a dog that looks like a rabbit. Rosie made her first illustrated book when she was just 7 years old.
Rosie used to work in an advertising studio with film directors and digital artists; whilst there she learnt about photo manipulation, storyboaring and layout design. She enjoys documentaries about people, japanese woodcuts, comic books and dramatic movies. These all influence her image making and storytelling. She uses a range of traditional and digital techniques to create her images.
Recently graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration, Rosie’s most recent project was shortlisted for the Stratford-Salariya Picture Book Prize 2017.
