Roger Olmos is a freelance illustrator. Born in Barcelona, he started working as a trainee at the Institut Dexeus as scientific illustrator. Four years later he entered the school of arts and crafts Llotja Avinyó in Barcelona where he specialised in Children’s illustration. In 1999, while still enrolled at art school, he was selected at the International Children’s book fair in Bologna where he met his first publisher. 
Since then he has published over 36 titles both nationally and internationally. Publishers include: Edelvives, Random House Mondadori, Macmillan, Kalandraka, Oqo Editora, Ediciones B, La Galera, Teide, Baula, Bromera, Editions 62 and Pirouette. As well as pursuing his career in illustration, Olmos has worked in advertising for TV and magazines.
